About Jen Rumble Family Mediation
JR Family Mediation (or JRFM) was founded in December 2011 by Jen Rumble, a Russian-speaking family mediator.
Having previously worked as an accredited child and parenting counsellor with specialism in trauma and PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), Jen then successfully completed recognised family mediation training with leading practitioners Adrian Wright
and Robin Ap-Cynan (ADRg). Having qualified, Jen started to practice independently as
an "all-issues" (child and financial) mediator in March 2012 (accreditations).
Today we offer a full range of family mediation services from our office in Stockport and outreach offices in Chester and Buxton. All our offices are central, easily accessible and private.
Most mediation information and assessment meetings (MIAMs), mediation sessions and mediation training courses are provided by Jen. However, certain family disputes are mediated by two mediators, this is known as 'co-mediation'.
Normally 'co-mediation' would be required in unusual circumstances, such examples may be high net worth or safety concerns/history of domestic violence. All cross-border family cases are 'co-mediated'. Where necessary Jen will discuss 'co-mediation' with you at the initial meeting and introduce you to one of our approved, accredited mediators.
What makes JRFM different is our level of commitment to providing every client with the best possible mediation experience and continuously improving the quality of our services. We are proud of every positive feedback and work hard to stay 'complaint-free'.
From the moment of the first contact and throughout the mediation process, your matter will be dealt with discretion,
in a supportive, non-judgemental and timely manner. If for some reason mediation is deemed inappropriate, we are able to signpost to you to other local services for families and persons, who may require other types of support.
